mp3 ripping software

ever since i updated the fucking drivers, my creative playcentre won't rip mp3's from cd's anymore. I could port them to my ipod using itunes...but I really want the mp3's.
Can someone direct me to some nice (free) software that will burn mp3's for me when i put an audio cd in?

you're on a mac, right jev?
I'm pretty sure you can just move the files directly onto the CD icon on the desktop... then just choose 'burn disc' (or whatever it says) from the file menu.
That'll create a data-cd... but that's all you need to play mp3's with.

nah - PC. I don't need to burn a disc - I want to burn mp3's of tracks on an audio cd to my computer...be cool if it connecetd to CDDC to get the album, artist, and track names too...

You want to make a music CD to play in a cd player? from mp3's?
if thats the case music Cd option in Easy creator does that

yeah, its in the prefernces. the only problem with itunes is that you cant change the way it names the files

if you dont know how to burn...
just make a playlist of what you want to burn.. then click the top right hand burn button..... really simple.
if you have mp4 or wavs in your itunes..u can just right click on them and convert to whatever your import settings are....
