Had a good family friend from there.. his name was Ajit.
He used to make the shit so goddamn spicy I could barely eat it- so good though.
He said they make it spicy there so you sweat, and that actually cools you down because the wind feels cool on wet skin.

jevvie, its amazing. the bookstore is on the first 3 storeys and actually feels like an older bookstore...wood banisters etc.
the restaurant is really amazing...they have 2 wonderful chefs and the atmosphere is unpretentious and comfortable. make reservations for you and your lady, and ask for the corner table (next to the corner made of windows). lovely!

south indian food is more tropical....uses coconut, mustard seeds, rice
its just different
ask your local restaurant they might have some dishesand yes we indians love spicy food to cool us down ;)

you have to go there round christmas time...they put santa hats and beards on all of them, and a hat in the mountain lion's mouth. funny stuff.

i love buffalo. we only buy ground buffalo now. elk is great too.
