read two posts up...rick stein is awfull. And all he seems to concentrate on are kipper smoke houses that are on the verge off closing
"another local indsutry bites the dust" - Rick shakes head
And i am talking about fish I am likely to get in my general food shopping...I don't really have the time to drag myself out to Billingsgate market for 4 hours to get some decent seafood.

Of course that market is well popular. In fact I like quite allot of fish but cod is a bit bland it needs allot of attention to make it exciting. Ruddy heck look at me all food criticy.

I am going to crush some fresh targon in my pestle, all agressive like...and drizzle a few lugs of olive oil....
god, that almost sounds like a porno

Supermarket fish is pish if it's in a packet but the fish counter is good.

I used to eat Kudu, Oryx, Crocodile and Mupani Worms when living in Africa. Not bad to be honest. More 'Orange Roughy' fish is exported out of Namibia than anywhere else in the world. Locals would eat donkey and dogs all the time and a variety of beetles.

Ostrich is nice too, a but like a combination of red meat and duck.

If there was a wacky food competition you would win it hands down with your full, rich and varied diet.!
