i'm not good at flash at all..but i try to learn.
I'm making a map. And on the map there is 'spots' you can click, and as you click on one of those spots, then some text will show. So I got it all set up on in the flash file. All text bloks are converted to graphics. But I dont know how to make then be unvisable until you click on the spot on the map and then turn unvisualble again after lets say 10 sec?
Can anyone help a flash retard?
thanks.

I'd say you should make all of the text an instance ina MovieClip. Make the movie fade in and fade out over a certain number of frames. Set a "stop" action on frame 1 and a "stop" action on the frame where the text is fully faded in. (Let;s say your animation is 10 frames and that center point is then frame 5). Then set the area on the map to play frame 2 from the selected movie clip when it is moused over and play frame 6 when moused out.
