iframes and js submenus

    alright fellas...
    i've got a question: let's say i've got an iframe, immediately to the left of this iframe is a link, upon rollover this link will spawn a submenu (through java and css)...will this submenu appear over the iframe or am i going to have to go a step further and place this iframe in a div layer with a lower z-index?
