someone wants to buy some of my work. first time! woohoo!
anyways, i really dont know how much to charge for this sort of thing.
im planning on making a transaction for 2 8.5"x11" prints, and one probably twice as large as those.
if anyone could help me out, give me some insight, it would be much appreciated.

i am planning on having someone else print it. though i only really know kinko's.
dont want to spend an arm & a leg either.

Too much. We're growing again. Lots of work in the pipe (and sometimes some other stuff too). And you?

Since its your first sale, I wouldnt charge a lot. No more than $20 for the 8.5x11. The same for the 11x17(?), maybe a little more. Its really a personal call, what you think its worth, who your selling to and the potentials behind that buyer.
For 1$ a print (a little more for the larger) whatever you charge will be good.
On the side though, the color and toner consistancy isnt always that good on the workstation printers. The only other alternative is the $12 a print machine behind the counter.
May consider buying a 3rd party paper at a office store for better performance and that glossy finish (or whatever your looking for).

And whatever you charge, just be nice. I get tired of seeing people charging 30-50$ for shirts and more for prints. There is nothing* printed on paper or cloth that is worth more than $30.
*Always those special exceptions but those are rare.

i cant tell you what to charge but def dont get it output at kinkos. contact some local printing presses in town or photo houses and see about getting some fiery's or whatever match prints they use. it might cost ya but you can pass that along to the buyer. do not sell anyone a color copy from kinkos.

testpilot, good to hear man. you have to shoot me some of the recent work or something. we are super busy also. its crazy and sometimes i think i cant keep up.
for i am only a man..

thanks for the comments, some very helpful hints.
yeah i didnt want to use kinkos, and for some reason i didnt think of going somewhere else because i go there for schoo; open 24hrs a day.

I dont know whats wrong with Kinkos. Its shat, but it can be worked around and you cant beat the price at the quanity thats being asked for. Kinkos has a Fiery behind the counter.

yes, that's all i use there.
