Burning iTunes songs ?

Can I burn songs I have bought from iTunes (UK) to CD-RW with anything other than iTunes ?
My CD burner works with Nero but not with iTunes you see

Why would the burner not work with iTunes?
In any case you can convert songs to MP3 or other formats in iTunbes, then burn from any program.

what am I saying? You can't convert purchased AAC to other formats, right. But you should be able to burn a CD from iTunes...what error are you getting?

BTW this is Windows
No error code in iTunes my burner (external) just spins the disc up and down forever
I usually drag my playlist to Nero to burn it but I can't do that with music purchased from iTunes

dont buy music from itunes.

Well I tried not to cos of the restrictions (I usually just buy the CD and rip it) but iTunes is just so damn convenient for picking off those individual songs you've always liked but would never buy the LP just to get
