I'm rebuilding my personal site.
Kinda at a loss, in some ways.
I have all this art work and video production and departure material to include yet I'm overwhelmed with all the work.It could be the fact that I haven't slept and I've trying to post in in a matter of a few short days.
Any thoughts.

a rasko pissed in a hand is worth 2 raskos flying..
firefox blocked me the pop-up.. same might happen with most viewers due to their pop-blockers/anti virus definitions.. that's a neat effect, for some, but not useful

Hmmm, yep, I was thinking about making a departure and now that's become rather clear from that past few votes.
If it get's any worse I'll have to blame somesome for the hernias this bloody thing has caused me.

If you've got such a lot of work as you say then keep the site very clean and simple.
Make sure the navigatgion is simple and clear and the work should speak for itself.
Just my humble opinion.
Or alternatively you could commission us to do it for you! :)

oh wait, I just looked again and something wierd must have happened last time, I had two popups spring up and just keep swapping between whichone was in focus in different positions on the screen, I thought it was one of those 'crazy' javascripts that bounces shit allover the screen, took me a minute to shut them down... didn't look at the site yet, I'm eating..

OK
So the pop ups and virtually non existent navigation is a little irritating.
I designed this original structure about two years ago.Obviously I want to depart from it.
It was even stupider (word?, yep) when I had the pages on timers and moving around the screen at various points of the experience.For some reason I still want to continue with a multiple window structure.
After today, who knows I may just scrap that idea as well.Oh yeah I'm Cree, and the site has been financed my various government grant groups like The Canada Council For the Arts. Hence the Mixblood. Just to answer your query there JazX.
I have an updated concept ready to post in few moments.

since your work is focused on video production etc, and you're not necessarily selling sites, let the actual work be the focus of attention and not a razzle-dazzle site.
it will be much more effective for you, i think. keep it clean and let the site display your work in the cleanest possible way.
