Is there any way to control the size of a pop up window, within the window itself, instead of from the page that opens the link?

best way to do it is to resize and refresh the window.
basically, it re-launches itself.
I just did this recently and there are ECMA scripts that make it very easy.window.moveTo(100,100);
window.resizeTo(430,500);just put that in a script tag in your pop-up and you are set.

there's dreamweaver extensions that do just that.
www.macromedia.com/cfusion/excha…...
confusing navigation (all in flash, so no keyboard help).
jsut remember that some browsers BLOCK popups. and your users will never know what they missed.

Good browsers block not just popups but window resize/move scripts.

Ya. Every now and then you get this little, tiny 100x100 window in the top left that was supposed to be full screen, or something. Then it can't be resized, which just adds to the awesomeness.
