_______________

producer and authorized signatory for the picture:
_______________my question:
do i sign twice? can i sign twice?thanks_

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but it looks to me like it wans your name and the name of the work.
- warheros0
well, the name of the Picture is stated earlier in the contract.
"hereinafter referred to as 'Picture'"
the first line is obviously where i sign, hence the horizontal lines. then it says my name under that line.
then it has another line which i do not understand who signs. me? someone else?
first time ive had to do this.
- welded0
Huh. Well, I guess it does look like you sign twice.
:\

okay, that's what im thinking too. i did some research on the words i didnt know.
i have questions regarding the wording of the contract, how can i get them answered? anyone here know anything about it? should i just post it here?

the licenses (for master and synch) shall be free of charge, non-exclusive, and the master and composition embodied thereon shall be used only once by you in syn with visuals from Picture.
what does this mean?

I think that's in case someone other than the copyright creator fills out the paperwork?
- warheros0
what?
it's in the body of the contract. third paragraph, just look at your copy.

hard to tell not knowing the whole story or what you are doing.
heres my thoughts anyway on the wording your having trouble with

you wont be charged (for the license) for what you are doing,
the license is non exclusive meaning other parties/companies may also work on this 'thing' at some point
you are free to do what you said you will be doing to this 'thing' and you can only use this 'yhing' for the purpose of what you are doing, and not for anything else or at a later date.

dont know if that helps?
clear as mud?
- warheros0
as clear as an unmuddied lake
thanks
