i have a hefty mpeg w/audio that i want to convert to a smaller mp4 or quicktime to stream on the web.
however, when i import it into ae and export it as either of those formats, the final piece contains no audio.
what am i overlooking, or doing wrong? how do i do this?

you need to publish w/audio
- tymeframe0
it's in your Output Module

i've never touched this program before.
how do i do that?
- brandelec0
when you 'make movie' click on output, it'll give you options

i found the output module.
thanks guys.

crap.
i checked the audio thing in the output module and tried exporting the movie again, and it's doing the same thing. no audio.

hmm. try bumping up the audio db in the comp...

i was just looking at that. it's set at 0/0 but it's shaded and locked so i can't change it.

should i be doing something more to the clip after importing it?
like arranging it on a timeline or something...
- fingercore0
err...you imported it and didn't put it on the timeline?
- scarabin0
dude, i don't even see a timeline.
- kevinv0330
hmm...so is the clip even on the timeline?
if not, drag it there.
then open up teh audio and bump it up there...
- scarabin0
so where's the timeline?
