ha, yeah. soz dobs.
But i dont like those sorta debates (the Moore interview) where they're just trying to catch each other out by shit like "So you wouldn't have removed saddam?" "Therefore you think Saddam should have stayed?" i mean, he's deliberately not asking Moore any questions that will allow Moore to elaborate on his position and cutting him off and arguing at any point to limit understanding. Moore's doing the same.

oh an,about the New Deal thing. My point was not that New Deal and state Socialism didn't benefit the workers. It definitly did, and it totally changed society for the better. But there's causes and consequences of that sort of scialism (which i cant be arsed going into) which we can't go back to. We've moved away from the "factory society"/"disciplinary society" of the earlier 20th century into a "post-modern society"/"society of control". I'm of the hard-left and i think we need a totally new, totally democratic paradigm bla bla bla boringboringboring.
I'm off for an aftre=work pint. Done way too much work this week. Take care dobs!
peace

They were both tossing out loaded questions.
That whole question line of "woud you send your CHILDREN off to war" was loaded IMHO...only in the sense of how he asked it. He was smart about it if he was trying to make himself look better for his crowd. Had he asked 'would you send your son off to war', that may not have had the heart-string impact.

what's your definition of socialism or communism in laymans' terms?
- lowimpakt0
socialism is hanging out with your mates and communism is cooking dinner for each other.
