are they any good? I'm torn between the cheap option (e-mac) and getting a g5 bundle and re-mortgaging my flat.... strictly for print design so I reckon the G5 maybe a bit more juice than I really need....hmm... haaaaa

they're ok for web and stuff, probably wouldn't want to be doing too much print stuff with big files.. but fuck it. they are cheap.. they look pretty fucking shit though huh?

Also, find a boy or girl at the local university and ask him/her to buy it through that learning-discount deal they have going.
10% is not that much, but it's something.

well if you are doing broadcast, the g5...for freelance print and web the e-mac is sweet.worded on it for my a while and my print files are sometimes pretty big.
made some a1 posters at 300 dpi and lots of layers in photoshop..i ran ok..but the ram ...double the ram when you buy it.
