btw, i think apple jumped the shark with the new iPod packaging...the 3G was much more sleek and sophisticated, now we got a fucking rainbow box w/shitty cardboard...:

i got my 4g today as well. charging it up as we speak.
i dislike the new packaging as well. this rainbow vector stuff has to go. i also am not as fond of the clickwheel as i am of the seperate touchbuttons and the touch center button... don't like all the clicking, but man 40 gigs of space, sooo nice.

ah, yeah i got a 4G. only 20GB's though, still very happy that i got it!
very, very happy.
i actually like the packaging. not so much the outside with the colors, but the inside is cool.
didnt have to charge it for more than 30min probably out of the box; nice.

i dunno i'm digging this clickwheel, at least hte feel of it. don't like the navigation, much prefer previous generations buttons.
and i hate itunes with a passion... anyone know how to refresh your library after editing id3 tags outside of the player ? i'm on xp so i use id3-tagit to mass edit id3 tags, and itunes doesn't refresh them...

Just got mine yesterday 4G 20gig. Lovin' it. BUT, do they have any decent cases for them yet? That polished steel is nice, but easily scratched...

the customizable menu is rockin' thoyou can can mass edit in iTunes too, easy. select what you want right?
