ok my question was
how big of an arm tattoo does $200 buy me?
- blaw0
$125-$150 would probably get you something the size of a cigarette pack. so, bigger than that.

uh... there are some perfectly good answers in your first thread...
- brandelec0
keep saving, when you're up to $800, then you've got something worth spending for
- -leah-0
hey brandelec do you have a tattoo?
- brandelec0
i'm not getting one till i'm 35, by then i'd have better stories to tell
leah, can you give me a discount?
- -leah-0
i totally will, but you have to come to where i live, you could even be one of my test subjects! :P
*starts tattooing brandelec- whoooooooops! uh oh...
*runs out back door leaving brandelec with a big black line down his face

- brandelec0

assface!i don't know if i want to be text subject #1 though, but i can borrow my buddy's chihuahua
- -leah-0
ooh i love chihuahuas!
dont worry, i already have tons of friends here who are willing to be tested on... but i am sure i will have to start on pigskin first, i wont be tattooing on people for quite a while. i get so excited when i think about it! Wee!!!
- ebon0
I have been thinking about getting into tattooing for a while.
anyone know what the best products are?
guns, inks, all that stuff.
- -leah-0
ebon, i hope you will get training before you go buy tattoo equipment???
- ebon0
Maybe. Havent gotten that far yet. Just looking to get some figures in my head and know what to look for.
What kind of training can i get?
Do they have tattoo classes?
I was just gonna start with my cat. =)
- brandelec0
like someone suggested here earlier, do some time, get trained in the pen by big moe.... free training, free food, lots of practice
- -leah-0
oh dear... well you need to find someone who will take you on as an aprentice... there are only two "tattoo schools" in north america. during your aprenticeships your mentor will hopefully teach you how to run a business and follow safety guidlines AS well as teach you how to tattoo. it isn't an easy career to learn, i don'think
ps. tell your cat to leave home for its own good! :P

some one delete this thread.
- motormel0
i've been friends with many tattooers, you must find someone to take you on as an apprentice and even then people won't share their knowledge with you. it is snobby and competitive, just like graphic design can be

more expensive laser treatment than 100 would have cost
