be careful what sort of email attachments you open. my system just got seriously f**ked thanks to this W32/Bagle.ag@MM virus.

word of advise- don't open anything from anyone you don't know AND always save attachements to your desktop and scan for virus before you open...

thanks leah. 99.99% of the time i do exactly what you suggest.
i pulled an all-nighter last night and my client sent me this file this morning so i just absentmindly opened it. turns out, it wasn't actually my client who sent it, but this #^!(*&#^ virus that infected my address book. #!@*&(@

wow leftwave! i wish canada had its own tropical island that i could move too... the us government wouldn't look to kindly on me trying to get a work visa to move to hawaii to be a freelancer though... :( although i do have my british citizenship, i wonder if that'll help me somewhere else in the world?

leah, don't completely rule out the idea of life in a tropical paradise. getting a work visa is hard, but not impossible. as a US citizen, i actually managed to become a permanent resident of canada so i could work and snowboard! then i discovered surfing...

leah, i could be wrong, but doesn't your british citizenship allow you to work in any of the commonwealth countries? take your pick of tropical islands: bahamas, fiji, jamaica... or move to australia and vacation in hawaii on your way over there!
