maybe someone can help, im trying to find out this certain type of mexican art that looks really cube like or cylidrical or geometry styled. i one saw this painting of a car factory and it was mind blowing, im pretty sure it was mexican. but when i search on google, i see nothing like what im talking about.
i think a couple of rage against the machine single covers had some examples of it. any ideas what the hell im talking about?

pardon my ignorance, but the book i recall seeing it in was called "mexican art" so naturally i typed that. anyhow any idea?

You might be thinking of aztec art, it was used on official soccer ball used in the Mexico 86 world cup.
But when u say you seen it in Rage albums and car garages, you may be thinking of los angeles chicano art. You see the designs on side doors of cars and back of trucks.

are you referring to Cubism which is Spanish influenced, not Mexican?

you know what, im not even sure, which is why im asking...but when soulfly mentioned chicano art, i searched in google, and this was close to the characters in the painting:
and the shapes of general objects were rather cylindrical as i recall.

Searxh Jose Clemente Orozco - A great Mexican Muralist.
His Murals aren't generally cubist. Some of his oil on canvas work is close to what you are looking for.
