dvd burner

    i just bought this dvd burner for my computer and i tried burn a dvd last night but it wouldnt work. The only software that came with the burner was roxio toast lite 5.2 and that program said i needed a dvd authoring software. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any downloadable dvd authoring software for macs.
