Anyone from St Albans? I'm moving in a couple of weeks. Who, what, where should i do, visit, drink, work for?

have a wander around the cobbled streets near the cathedral then walk round the lake and have a beer in the fighting cocks.

Apparentley one of the oldest pubs in britain.
There tends to be a few wallys knocking around the main pubs/bars at the weekends so the side streets are the places to explore.
St albans used to have the rep of having the most amount of pubs in a sq mile, but i've since heard the same thing said of other places.visit the organ museum,

The town hall frequently screens films and there's a market too. Fast trains to kings cross run all the time.
I don't know much about potential work there but you could speak to to nick who owns mvgmedia
