The roll-overs are a little much with the flashing, and the default light source drop-shadows are... well.... default-ish.

the column with text on the left is a bit small, three words on line is not much.and another:
what is the point of "v2" and linking to the /v2 directory?oh, and:
i like the font. seems familiar, but whattizzit?

one thing, make the text appear on the left after the image has come to the stage imho.

well, it's in german cause I finally accepted that I have only german clients.. hehe.
and the shadows, well...
are they that bad?I just thought they'd add some depth and would not really hit the eye.. hmmm.

shadows are a bad design's best friend.

you should probably add a "loading images" or preloader of some sort while the portfolio images are loading, verus just a big blank area until the images appear.

stop nagging about the shadows.
shadows make you feel visually more comfortable with the different layers of information brought to you on a flat screen.as if you didnt know.
flock off if thats too trendy or to this or that.
