What are some standard fonts used anywhere in Europe - other than like the whole DIN suite.
Or are those pretty much the standard?

wtf? standard where?
your question is really really vague!
you mean for road signs and shit?
it differs per country..
in France they use Frutiger, in the Netherlands we use ANWB ee, in Germany they use DIN...etc.

yeah it's a vague question

anyway, did i just answer your question, punk? well did i punk?

sorry I was trying to be vague - I knew of DIN in Germany for signage. But other countries I was clueless as far as type for signage or any type standards.

"sorry I was trying to be vague"
- well, you damn well succeeded!
are you looking for these fonts? since every country here uses a different typeface for their streetsigns, they also have their own rules, for instance, here in the Netherlands noone is allowed to have/use the typeface that's used on our streetsigns.. (altho i DO have it ;) ssssht.. )

just trying more to figure out what type people are familiar with in other countries.
Like the whole DIN suite being standard in Germany I assumed the standards in other countries like the Netherlands would be good solid fonts as well.

i like the ANWB font..
shite, can't find a better pic at the moment..
