  They have pioneered the sexy computer and cornered the MP3 player market by packaging itunes and ipod, yet to me Apple still has not sufficiently provided an efficient font management app.

  I can't even preview a font now till I install it, even OS 9 let me preview a font in the Finder!

  It baffles me why they don't go hammer and tongs into it? The original and faithful mac base are creative industry, we value our type and need the ATM of OSX badly.

  How come they're willing to standby and let 3rd parties like Extensis rule the roost when they're software development capability is dominating every other department?

  The Font Book on panther is so badly designed it's untrue.

  Any likeminded thoughts?
