i'd like to be invited to Bill O' Reilly's public beating, then leave midway through

There are NO left-wing news stations. I'd go as far to say all of them lean to the right. FOX is just the most blatant.
The fact that they all rely on advertising dollars and operate on a corporate level means that their number one interest is money. Therefore, pro-labor and anti free-trade stories are either never reported upon or are merely mentioned as a means to make the networks appear open-minded.

I watch hannity and colmes and the o reilly factor about 3 times a week. It is genuine comedy.

there's a very "liberal" (small l) use of the word liar goin on around here.
"There's a war in Iraq..."
fucking liar CNN! u fucking liar!! aaargh!!!
By the way, newspapers are more likekly to show a bias in reporting than any (except Fox) TV news. Which i think is a good thing. It's all about the perspetives yo. Apart from The Economist and some of the Financial Papers - very good on the cold hard facts and figures.
My advice, stop being pussies, take a political position and stick to it. Stop expecting to be spoon fed the news and then being bitter about it. If the ineterests of American business matter to u - read the press that spends its times reporting on policies that affect them. If the interests of some cattle herders in Uganda matter to u - read the press that spends its time reporting on policies that affect them. It's not about lies. It's about perspective (except Fox news - total unadulterated lies)

There's only one reliable newssource:

Most people in America don't have the luxury nor the time to search for news sources that have other "perspectives" than that of the mainstream newspapers and TV programs.
Therefore, we are left with a society in which perhaps a majority of the working class and poor lean to the right--not because they genuinely side with conservatives, but because they are constantly being bombarded with stories of terror, violence, etc and without proper access to dissenting viewpoints, they are left with an impression that says, "the most superficial solution" is the best--even if this means fucking them over in the end.

no wait, let me rephrase;
there's only one newssource that is foxier then fox:
