burn them unto the cd?
do you mean how do you make it autorun?
- e-wo0
www.google.com should offer the necessary information.
sorry. couldn't help being a JazX for a moment
- texascris0
yes, sorry that's what i ment...
i'm working in a mac and it has to be for mac and pc.
- brandelec0
the way i do it is:
open notepad
type:
[autorun]
OPEN=(replace with file.swf or file.html, you get the idea)
save it as 'autorun.inf'
put it on the root of the cd along with the file you want to launch
- brandelec0
sorry, that's:
[autorun]
OPEN=filenamethen replace 'filename'

there are freeware apps out there that will make it hybrid and autorun on both platforms. sorry but the name of the app escapes me right now. someone will help, watch.

and shouldn't he also save out the flash file as a MAC/PC projector? (ie. .exe file) in order for it to run outside of the browser?
- tactikal20
Definitely... you'll have to make both projectors. And you'll have to create the CD on a Mac using Toast to create a hybrid CD that auto runs on both platforms...
- texascris0
Do i have to make every swf movie a projector or just the main swf?
- ribit0
except that AutoRun is often disabled on Mac...
I think there is now a program for creating Mac/ISO Hybrid on Windows as well?
- brandelec0
i think ribit is right
texascris, are you on a mac or pc?
- ********0
export to .exe and use an auto-run file, simple as that.
- texascris0
Mac (OS X Panther - iBook)
ribit are you talking about MacImage for windows, it was in a threat her a couple of days.

thats where I saw it...until then I thought you had to use Toast/Mac. Not sure if it is any good though... has anyone seen alternatives?
