even when i had no tv and radio (which was for about two years) i still knew all the top 40 songs by heart,
it used to confuse the hell outa me!

i dont listen to radio and i don't watch mtv.
but i hear these songs in movies, as background in tv shows--just to rope in attention of 14-25 year olds.
it also sucks to DJ for a generation who doesn't want to dance to anything that they cant sing along to from memory.
example: July 4th party
