Wish I could help. I'm getting ready to start hunting myself for something in ATL.
I'm looking at possibly moving to Atlanta in the 6 months or so.

We have some companies here. As the industry improves (if you call it that) so does the market. ATL's got it's fair share of design houses. I'd say Definition6, Figleaf, Macquarium are the three major ones I can think of right off the top of my head.

yeah.. there are some underlings that are doing well too.. artifact design is a good one

I have seen that Primal Screen is looking for animaters and motion designers.
Look under contact section.

ATL is pure shite!
The only thing they ever had was Graphic Havoc (5years ago)
All the firms there are the reason American design is crap and Atlanta for that matter.

obviosuly, hugelogo hasn't had any luck in ATL... did you get laid of here or something? why the pent up anger?

BTW, Figleaf isn't a firm in ATL. they are based out of Washington DC and do consulting work on the side, but mainly do training. Also, Def 6 is NOT one of the major design firms here. their work is shite. Macquarium is a sweat shop, hiring low wage workers from Asia mostly.

Left ATL in 99.
I used to visit my buddies, but now they visit me. Its just boring.

Iconologic is hiring .net developers, Web gurus, looking for interns and considering hiring designers as well (print and interactive).

In otherwords...
sorry buddy no "design" jobs.
It would be good to broaden your horizons anyway. Look everywhere...
