First tip to getting along out here:
Don't be an asshole.
As for that girlfriend of yours, I'm sure we can find something for her to do.

In traveling to San Francisco, you should also realize that we in the Pacific Time Zone, which commonly means that we're 3 hours behind everyone else in other time zones.
Seeing this, you asked your question at 6:00 in the morning our time, and then became an official moron around 7:59 our time.
Congratulations. You should ask more questions and then immediately insult us before we even wake up.

i just got here monday
but Haight Street sounds like your vibe.. lots of cool clothing boutiques, sneaker shops, vintage shops, and even the biggest record store you'll ever visit.. and while you're there, ring 1779 and say hi :)
Castro is also pretty cool.. some good shopping... and then theres downtown (Union Square) if you wanna hit the bigger stores (Diesel, Energie, Levis, Nike, etc)

The city isnt that big so if you are going to be here for 14 days im pretty sure you can visit all of it by just walking. Take some time and go to some towns like Tiberon Mill Vlaley, or Saulsalito across the golden gate.. some nice little shops there.. small town feel. Hit the beaches too

While we're busy being nice now, you should definitely check out the Beautiful Losers show @ the Yerba Buena Contemporary Arts Center. It'll be showcasing work from Spike Jonze, Ryan McGuinness, Shepherd Fairey, and others.
I believe it opens on the 17th of this month if anyone in town is interested in going.
I love lamp.
