Ok, since that crash, I need to buy a new car. I'm torn between 3 models:
1. Mazda6 Sedan
(I like the interior and exterior, this is one of the nicest looking Mazda cars so far)2. Passat
(I always liked VWs, especially because I drove VWs back in Europe and never had problems, however some people tell me that they are made in Mexico and are worse quality then the ones in Europe, especially in the AZ sun)3. Honda Accord Coupe
(Elegant and mean exterior and minimalistic yet cool interior)Help me out, I'm buying a car next week. Thx.

just a new thought ( is it only down to those three ?)
I really like the new Subaru foresters, and they are really reliable and loaded with cool features....they resell well too depending on where you are
if down to those three, i say the Passat, but only keep it for like 3-4 yrs

I think the passats are still european imports, whereas the bugs and jettas are MX...any 1.8L VW has a potential problem which is apart of a national recall..the coil packs (1 per cylindar) will go out and leave you stranded. I have had more friends w/ jettas and passats angry. I'm lookin at the diesel tho...47mpg hiway

can't go wrong with a Subaru, i drive a 01 Impreza RS, love it.
The mazda's cool, as is the VW but VW's tend to take a shit around 50k -60k.

Well I'm also considering SUVs, I really like Jeep Grand Cherokee or Mitsubishi Endeavor, but I personally dislike Subaru's design. I mean don't get me wrong, I don't think they are bad, it's just their design doesn't cut it for me.
Hey also, anyone has positive/negative opinion on Dodge Stratus SXT, that car looks very mean, but I don't know about the quality of Dodge.

Well I think I'm gonna go for a test ride with each one of my 3 selections. And yeah, actually I never buy a new car, I always buy a year old car because of the depreciation. Don't know if that's good or bad, but I always figured that if something should happen (factory problems and shit) will show up in that one year. I mean prices go down sometimes almost 30% and you still get a new car. I don't know if I should get a new car this time though. I mean I know Accord Coupe 2003 is completely the same as 2004 models I know they changed some things in the looks but I never could figure that one out. Also, are there a lot of differences between Passat 2003 and Passat 2004 or even for Mazda 6?

i would go with the mazda6, good bit of power, great warranty, great style, great handling. Accords are too big.
don't get an SUV, you'll be hating life when you realize how many times a week you have to fill the tank.

I saw one of those Smart cars out here in vegas a couple days ago. I saw them in europe a couple years ago, so they must be testing them for launch out here in 06. Weird looking little cars, I don't think they will do so well in SUV America.

oh the Smart roadster-coupe is kinda cool lookin
checks it out yo:

dude here where running a red light is pretty usual thing, you would be BLOWN AWAY in pieces in that small Smart crap. If Ford Expedition would make some real damage to a medium sized car, can you imagine what would happen to you in Smart :) I saw Smart cars back in Europe and I think they will find their only purpose there.
