Does anyone have a 12" notebook with PS or Flash running?
I really just want to see what the screen realestate is.

Here's a screenshot of the Dell Inspiron 8600 that I use (with an external 20inch used as a second monitor). I believe it's a 12.8" screen on this beast.

i guess what im asking is... is it damn near impossible to do any kind of workd on the 12".
Also, i have been looking at this inspiron 300m and it says that it has a built in graphics option. Is that as good as a graphics card notebook? I would only be using it for photoshop and flash and then the occasional DVD and animations

yeah when i used the 12" i tried pshop etc but after liek 20 mins i was annoyed... it was fine for liek paperwork and watching movies and shit but i use this 15" as my main machine!

If you can throw a second monitor on it I would say yes (but the point of a laptop is that usually you don't have a second monitor in your pocket when you're travelling), so I would say no.

Are you concerned about number of pixels or physical size?..or both... You need to look at the real laptop.

im more concerned with the # of pixels. I have been going down to my local bestbuy but their laptops are pieces of shi*.
