    Scale and Rotate (option key) Wackyness

    On my Mac (10.3.4), F MX 2004 Pro (7.0.1) and the keyboard shortcut Option+Command+S for Scale and Rotate.

    I select an object on the stage, initiate the aformentioned keyboard shortcut, and nada. However, if I select an object and then click the properties bar, or select ANY menu item above and then do the keyboard shortcut, it works! WTF?

    Same for "show/hide rulers", OPT+CMD+SHIFT+R.
    The keyboard shortcut works only if I give a click to the menu or properties bar.

    Can anyone replicate this "bug"?

    I have default Mac keyboard settings, default Macromedia shortcut settings. It happens right out of the box!

    This has nothing to do with the F MX 2004 7.0.0 version where they removed the SAR menu command as far as I know. Or does it?

    None of this is a problem on my Win XP machine.

    If I do a OPT+CMD+RETURN (preview scene) it works without fail.

    Well no response ... but you'll be glad to know the above issue is resolved with F MX 2004 updater to v 7.2
