I used to have a fla that did this (menu at http://www.harrisonjones.com/ )
but can't find it.I need to suss out how to do this, can anyone opint me in the right direction?

I think Josn praystation dude did the first one of things, and from that the name 'Tsunami menu' came about. It looks like a variation of one of those, so do a search for that.
Or perhaps he stil has the FLA on his site somewhere..happy hunting
