can somebody please please please check out http://www.majman.net/recent.htm… and explain to me why when you roll over some links, it shifts the whole div down, making the page shift too? the style sheet is at http://www.majman.net/recent.css…
This only seems to occur on IE5+ on PC's.
this would be tremendously helpful if anybody has a second!!!!
thanks!

please, oh css gods of PVN

Don't know if it fucks you up but if you take out the {/br} in between the links and put each of the links in their own {P} it fixes your prob. Looks just about the same too.
How'd you get the job to do the Phantom planet site, if you don't mind me asking?

noticed it also happens in IE6 on pc running XP. If that helps.

yeah... i know if they're on the same line, all is fine, but i want to keep the line break in there...
any other thoughts?
phantom planet's a sony music band, so i was forunate enough to be able to work on it awhile back.

use
a:link
a:active
a:visited
a:hoverand take the p in your css and see if that works.
it's where you have the padding for p a {}
- TResudek0
Use separate {P} tags for each. They'll be on different lines.

unformatted, tried these suggestions and didn't seem to work. :(
i've figured out that when i remove the
background-color: #999;
from the a:link, everything works fine.... but this seems like it's a little strange to me.as you can guess, i'm not a CSS afficianodo.
any other suggestions?

where are the css problem solvers when you really need them?
(bump)

you should be using
a.achorname:link
a.achorname:visited
a.achorname:active
a.achorname:hoverand appling the class to the href.
ie
hope that helps
