belt drives = shit.
When I first got decks I bought 2 expesive belt drives for about 3/4 the price of a pair of MKIIs....
1st time I wanted to play with them a couple of friends offered to bring their MKII's but being proud of mine I declined their offer........that was the saturday night, I sold them on Monday morning and got 25% of the price I'd paid...
Not worth it!! Now I have 1 MKII and play with friends who also have one... or sometimes even a belt drive too, but then you need to plan which tune goes on which platter.... feck it and fork out.
