demo-release for very talented jazzguitar player who composed a few jazz songs.
this is the front cover and it is supposed to be printed in different tones of black with different finishing on it (can't find the right English word for it now, but i hope you get the idea..).
i haven't showed him yet. i thought i'd throw it into the design arena first.
crit away!!

Thats looks hot.
Are you going to get it printed properly.Cause that would look nice in a matt & gloss composite...
- BonSeff0
ok fine
what does sgee mean?
hehe
are you gonna drop a spot varnish on the eggs
- zedvox0
i am digging the "eggs" it will look nice with a varnish ;)
i see you are trying to bring back Avant Garde Alt.
tsk tsk :)nice.

"matt & gloss composite..."
you won the 'helpful comment of the day award"
that is exactly the definition i was looking for.
so the answer is 'ja'
it'll be without ugly plastic in front of it.. just a nice pretty special cardboard (?) fold.. (no jewel case)..
the rest of the design will follow soon.. if this gets his approval that is..
- jstiles0
very nice. that would look fantastic when printed with gloss and all.
i just find the name of the album a little hard to read. maybe have it in small white type with the name of the artist? just a suggestion. but this is good work.
- DutchBoy0
VARNISH!
that's it.
i learned another bit of printing terminology here!
:D
- zedvox0
Ja
- DutchBoy0
yeah, but i kept the type this abstract cuz the first song on the cd has the same title already.
so people figure it out! and it shouldn't be too easy since this artist resides amidst jazz-intellectuals, na meen?
:)
- zedvox0
Green Eggs.
- zedvox0
drop some drips and a varnish deer and you are all set :)
- DutchBoy0

Green Eggs.
he found the title on some children's book when he was playing in the US..
anyone know this book? i would love to see where he got this name from.
- DutchBoy0
