I'm purchasing a domain but the name I want is taken. So, I'm faced with 2 choices: 1. Get a different extension (i.e. mysite.tv, mysite.net, mysite.org) OR 2. hyphenate my domain: my-site.com.
In your opinion(s) which would you choose, hyphenation or a different extension?

(Does that thing vampires do when the see a beam of sunlight, or a cross, or the neck of an anorectic supermodel.)Maybe you can play with you r orignal name-idea to still get the .com. Put something in front, or behind, that makes it even better... I dunno.
I went hunting for good free .com names myself the other day. Listened to some lyrics, re-read some stories and comics I like, got inspired. I wrote down 20 .com names, and 16 of them were still available!
What I'm actually saying is... could someone lend me some money?And why are my last few post so damned long? Does anybody read all of this anyway?

You say that NOW, but when you have to type it or tell somebody... But then again, you have hyphens in your name.
