SO I just visited a website for a real estate school. Signed up for a class on a secure payment page. When my transaction was done it spit a thank you page out that was not secure and had all of my credit card info, SS#, security Code etc.. all information anyone would need to steal my identity. is this bad.

I know for a fact the page was not secure i right clicked and looked at properties just to make sure. How can I approach them and find out if that particular page was displaying my information over the internet for everyone to see.

I know these guys get hundreds of orders if not more a month. and everyone uses the exact same payment page.

IO mean is it safe to say that if Im looking at a page on the internet displaying My Name, SS#, CC#, Sec Code, Address, etc... and if the page is not secure, it's unsafe?

The form page before it was secure but not this one.

Most likely it's a bad thing. It's supposed to be secure from beginning to end if it has your personal info on it.

Basically, there's no way to pass secure info from a secure session to a non secure page without breaking some sort of security best-practice.

... I doubt anything will happen to you or your account info, but you should probably let the people who run the site know what's up, as if someone was sniffing the session, all that data is up for grabs.
