so... I just LLC'ed my new 'company' name.
Now - you'd think that I'd of been smart enough to make sure the domain existed - given the fact that I do webdesign...
... no - that's too simple...
... anyway - the name of the company is Ross Media, LLC.
rossmedia.com is taken, as is by rossmedia.net ...
... should I get rossmediallc.com? or is that too long?... should I get rossmedia.biz?... or is it appropriate to stay with one of the existing domain names that I own... and just put one of those on my biz cards / emails etc... even though they have no relation to the new company name?
argh. I dunno what to do...

i think ross-media.com but that could get mixed up with rossmedia.com - guess u should rename the company sadly

As is generally the case, I can't find the specific examples.. but I do know there are a couple of (reputable) agencies who don't use their proper company name as their URL.
For example, you might use something like rossross.com, ross2.com, rossed.com, rossworks.com, aidemssor.com or something similarly quirky and tie it in with some catchy concept. To be honest, having an identical company name and URL is probably kinda boring and unoriginal :-)
