I have to do a research folder on
Traditional
and
Digital
advertising methods
Do any of you know any good sites that have info on these methods maybe listing the different types , and advantages and disadvantages and examples how they have been used etc , that would be great thanks :)

Was my major in college and I'd be hard pressed to think of a site that compares the two because I just don't know of any.
I assume you mean traditional as "print" and digital as "web based," right?
But a short summary...Print based advertising-you could spend a long time researching that.
Web based digital advertising is still new and maturing, and continuing to annoy us all to no end.
We know we hate pop ups, and all forms of invasive and intrusive advertising. I doubt that pop up ads work on anyone with even half a brain.But what seems to be an OK method is targeted ads like Google uses. I click the links and don't even really think about them being "ads"
Look up adweek and advertising age and see what resources they have.
