I am going to Vancouver for a few days to visit some family. I was wondering if anyone had any favorite places for cds, records, and books. any cool shops or an area to definitely visit?
I'll be in seattle for a day as well so you can throw some places in there as well.

Robson st. in Vancouver is teh main drag, plenty of dope shizzle.
in seattle, I'd check out the new library by Rem Koolhas on 2nd downtown [wish i could seee it], Pikes market obviously.
On N. broadway theres a great record store called Orpheum

commercial drive (in vancouver) is a pretty sweet place too. that is where you will find delicious italian coffee!
