Is there a way to exactly restore the way a PC was in the past (say yesterday)? Like make it go back in time?
I'm not a PC person.
Thanks.

Time travel.
Maybe I should mention I'm not really a person.

if you have XP you can.
It allows you to set restore points, and make th ePC just as it was on that date.

In the event of disaster Norton Ghost will restore my C drive to a working state in under 10 mins :)
It cost me £20 on eBay

Restore is a built in function of XP, it sometimes sets points for you automatically, but normally you need to set it up on a schedule or manually set restore points.
it should be noted, thought, that restore points do not affect data or documents, nor do they reverse most normal installations and such.
it mainly resets drivers and some dll's, etc.
if you deleted files, you've deleted them...a restore point isn't going to bring them back.
