Mine is nice and quiet. Nancy brought my fav bagels in and all is well...

Sh*t, all nervous cause I wanted to resign, but waiting for my contract for my new job to turn up before doing it - didn't come til 18:00, handed in notice at 18:05, meeting with director at 18:06 which lasted 1hr30 with him saying what an fool I was for leaving etc etc, got out at 19:30, everyone gone home, no-one to say goodbye to ;(

my last job that i quit i gave them two weeks notice and they were like "stay leah stay!" and then on my last day i was like "bye!" and they were like "see ya." and didn't even wish me luck.

They wouldn't let me work my notice, so I had 4 weeks gardening leave, last August - oh heady days

mine was fine.
my paranoid boss wanted me to go at 12 and 15 days before the legal margin (he was worried about me being a spy or whatever). i lost a "friend", (well, ehem, he was my worst enemy there, now i know), and he was at my back while i cleaned up my computer. he wanted to make sure that i was not going to steal or delete any essential file of the company.
i smiled and went running back home, where my girlfriend kissed me and said "ok, life goes on, i am here....."
yes, sometimes life is crap. and so was the agency and the people in there

well, ok, right now i am working in a really cooool place.
the people here are so friendly, and good prof... the jobs are so ass kickin and the clients are nice aswell....
the place is fine, and...so perfect!

Always do your copying and deleting and transferring of important stuff before you resign
Before I resigned I managed to persuade our IT guy to do a database dump for me.

my office is in the middle of a factory on an upper floor with no windows to the outside so i never know what the weather is like, all i can see is the inside of the factory when i look out the windows, that makes my office SUCK
