Topping my list of favorite books are:
The Black Obelisk by Erich Maria Remarque
Geek Love by Katherine Dunn
Have been flirting with thoughts of buying some Juio Cortazar or Paul Auster (Auster's "The Invention of Solitude" was mentioned here).
Any other suggestions?
What books do you love?

i also really loved a fine balance by Rohinton Mistry, i have read it about five times in my life.
