and now everything is going awesome, new Job working on WhiteHouse.gov website, the girl i have been in love with since 1991 just told me she is breaking off her engagement and wants to date me, and many other goodies happening...
my point is, preservere and don;t give in. it will get better.

you got a dui and only lost your license for 3 months?!? wft! when i was 20 i got pulled over and they serched us and the car. they found 2 beers that my asshole friend had stuck in his pocket and i got fucking nailed with this zero tolerance bullshit and lost my license for a year for illegal transportation and possession of alcohol.
you should be THANKFUL you only lost it for 3 months.

yeah TF i have a kid... but the cool thing is i get insurance through my wife's job so insurance is taken care of.
i hope the freelance stuff turns out good for me. i suppose it's all up to how much i pursue it!

I will not judge nor scold you...ou learn from your mistakes. Don't make that one again.
On another note, keep your chin up. There will be other opps out there. Maybe you need to consider freelance work. I'd get out there and market my ass off. Print up some cool postcard like items with snapshots of the work you've done and drop a few off at all of the design, ad and print shops. Something's got to bite.
