  ok heres wot im wondering:
  when you save JPG it has the window where u set quality etc and it has formatts - baseline,progressive....wots the buzz about those...i thought i knew wot i needed bout PS but now there bugging me i wonna know wot it all means.....

  AND when saving TIFF it has LZW and ZIP etc and RLE and ZIP..... i know wot ZIP is but wots the others all about?

  Re JPGs... generally you want Optimized.
  Progressive if you want progressive (3 pass) loading for web (not used so much these days?)
