how many of you use it, and why do you use it if illustrator exists?

Some things can be done much faster in Corel than in Illy. I use it from version 8 even though I use Illy as well. Path manipulation is also much better solved. The app is overall faster than Illy.
The downside is that Corel has/had problems with exporting specialized effects in vector format to other apps. For example transparency still doesn't export correctly in EPS even with PostScript 3 and smaller things like that. Otherwise one hell of an application let me tell you.

export/import utilities [ie. leayered AutoCAD files]
quite powerful/precise tool.
comes w/ coreltrace, fontnavigator.
I'm interested in getting the work done and not how trendy I am.

so over all its more efficient than illustrator?
i started playing with corel for the first time today. what's the equivelant of using "alt" in illustrator while using the pen tool when using the pen tool in corel? so far i learned "alt" works like the "spacebar" in illustrator, but i would like to know how to control bezier points dynamically in corel.

well here's the thing,
i have to design a brochure for the first time ever, and im descent in illustrator (more so for designing graphics than anything) and i have the option of doing it in corel or illustrator (lets not discuss quark at the moment).
is it worth learning corel in a few short days, or just do it in illustrator?
