Does anyone know of any weblinks for Mac tests - I mean QuarkXpress tests, Illustrator, Photoshop - the tests you would get offerd at an interview.
hope i'm making sense! thanks!

no idea, I'd expect usually they would give you something they had produced in house and ask you to reproduce it, they'd likely have the images and fonts in folders for you.. for artworking this is.

i've had about 3 jobs give me "tests". They all were different. one was a redesign of a zine ad, one was layout some given elements and the other was written about pantones, trapping, and "what does tiff stand for" easy crap.

I've dealt with a few of these in my time - they are usually one-click answers. I'd suggest knowing both the drop down option and the keyboard shortcut for stuff like - changing page orientation, font type size, resizing a window, saving for web, selecting different brushes, etc..
All the basic little things you do every day - just make sure you can rattle them off the top of your head and know where the menu item is as well as the keyboard shortcut.
I think they usually won't allow you more than 2 clicks per question.
Hope that helps!
