So, some us here at the old agency have revived the age old art of pencil fighting. You might remember this game as a kid. Riding in the back of the bus. Trying to snap your buddy's No. 2 pencil. Well, as with anything that usually starts out fun, it's gotten quite competitive.
So I am looking to you for the edge. Anybody want to offer up their tips for successful pencil fighting?
Best pencils (sturdiness)? Special techniques?
Yes, we're that bored.

True. Very true. Protective eyewear is optional but always a good idea. It can get ugly.

A couple of the guys have taken out the eraser and flattened the metal holder on the end. Giving it an axe like effect.
Legal? Or Not?

Pencil Fighting rocks!
It was really big for a while at my junior high. Some people would pull out the erasers and smash the metal down to use it like an ax blade.
There is a technique of using a fluid up-down motion in the wrists to get maximum power also. I think the thick round pencils with designs on them were the most popular and the fake wood rubbery ones suck as far as I remember.

put 5-6 extra coats of lead based paint on your pencil and you can't loose.

don't forget bracing!
you know slightly bending your pencil up whilst taking a hit.
you can also break a pencil in one lick every time if you use the motion of hand and the pencil.

acrylic enamel will work as well.
or soak your pencil in polyurethane, or pressure a treater

dudes. so simple. made a mold of your pencil. once it's hard, place a 1/8" steel rod down the center, then pour in cement. let it harden. sandpaper the cement smooth then use your artistic paint skills to paint a 'pencil' on it. whalla. you got a pencil smashin finger breakin unstoppable work of ass kicking art.
