Displays are on Apple now:
http://apple.comI don't like the new design. I guess I gotta see it in person. I miss the other look.

they dropped the ADC in favor of DVI too... i guess that means new video cards all around for people who want to use these... unless they have an adaptor of sorts

great! now that i bought my cinema display last month.

I was hoping they'd put the old ones on sale, but i guess not

very very hot...
DVI .. firewire... put a switch on it... you have a Flat panel tv and an awesome monitor

IF you have a PC it will work hah old macs don't support it LOL SAD old pcs support that shit.

I like the clamp attachment... means you can use something like this clamp system:

These Lacie monitors are still hard to beat...

I like Apple cinema displays better than the LaCie displays.
- ribit0
except Lacie have thinner frames (although Apple is catching up there), longer warranty, rotating feature (Windows support only)...and 1600x1200 proportion might suit some people better than the 1680x1050

I gotta say the Apple Display is still much nicer and looks to be of better quality. I know, don't judge a book by its cover, but those Lacies just arent good-looking.
Anyway, I'll wait till i find a deal on a previous generation 23".

I'm just talking about image stability, color representation etc. as opposed to the Electron 4, I've never used a Photon.

I think the Lacie clamp is the nicest bit...the monitor itself is kind of boring...but overall it is way better than the other choice I had at that price...the 20" old Cinema display...with its thick frame which wouldnt work so well if I used two of em together...but a new Cinema 23" with a Lacie clamp...hmmmm
