Nope, Apple isn't going to be doing any live broadcast of the event.

I'd like to see that as well, how Steve once again talks sh*t about MS and how he makes tiny improvements on a Mac sooooo big, however i think they do live feeds only when they have "revolutionary" things to show. I guess you might see it later because they usually put recorded feeds.

Uh, didn't you see the Core Movie and Core Image stuff? That's freakin amazing! No more waiting for effects to render (well, not when you're playing anyway).. you can show a client effects in seconds out of the box (more useful for quick playing with movie footage, rather than doing proper edits on images, of course!)
