They should add that in the Edit profile be able to set your GMT -/+
- fate0
Flash can pull Greenwich time from your 'puter! But then it would only be for the title or something, not posts.
- unsexypixel0
surely living in New Zealand you are used to it by now.
- MichaelW0
fate: php can do that aswell...
- patnoodle0
Why don't they just set it to display the system date/time of the user? Then it'd be correct for whoever was using it?
- fate0
MichaelW, flash can do it instantly with no server-side calls ;) :p
- Value0
can we talk about something else please?
- patnoodle0
Like this? (Just testing - seems like the easiest way to do it?)

- blackspade0

geek pride™
reminds me of the ipod battery in the deck of cards
- blackspade0
er, wrong thread :P
- blaw0
very good, patnoodle.
i'd like this as well, though my math (add three) is certainly easier than those in new zealand.

and friend of mine is from NZ. He informs me that they all beat their women and live in their cars.
but don't quote me on that

and whats with kiwis ending sentances with 'but'.
whats that all about, but?
- blackspade0
hmm never noticed it, i certainly dont end mine with a 'but'
maybe ending sentences with an 'aye' is definately a kiwi thing, but 'but' ?
anyways lets not turn this into a kiwi-bashing thread
*runs for cover under desk*
..but
- ********0
perhaps he was.
kiwis end everything with "choice" and "bro"
whats that all about
and i thought kia ora was cordial
- blackspade0
guess its no different to American slang u know ?
choice ? ...maybe in the 80's, 'choice' was the thing to say in NZ
'Bro' - same as the african american thing, Maori used it when referring to other Maori (also 'cuz') then everyone decides we are all 'bro's'
Kia Ora is cordial, what made you think it isnt ??
- patnoodle0
'Aye'... 'but'... Are you sure you aren't tralking about Glaswegians?
- blackspade0
na, canadians say 'aye' after sentences 2
